Campaign idea

On May,27 1941 one of the most iconic events of WWII occurred —the sinking of Bismarck. However, the new generation is reluctant to learn history in traditional formats. To make sure the importance of this event was never forgotten, World of Warships (a game focusing on naval warfare of WWII) and Sabaton band joined forces. The result was a modern retelling of the Bismarck’s last stand in the form of a music video. The video’s historically accurate to the last breath. Shortly after it went live, key music and game mass-media spread the news with a total coverage of 100m.
