ONE of the witnesses
Creative idea
Sometimes, people become friends right away when they share stories. Although I'm not fluent in English, talking about Japanese anime and manga has helped me make friends around the world. A compelling story is a universal language. There are no walls. It goes beyond borders, race, language, religion, sexual orientation, and disability. Young people, including myself, feel this strongly on a daily basis. The same is true for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Planica. There, people witness great achievements, and the memories created eventually become a new common language for all. Therefore, our core idea is to capture that moment of witnessing—the moment when a common language is born. In this way, Planica is seen not just as a sports event, but as an opportunity that connects people beyond every barrier. The visual motif is the eyes of people moved and amazed by ski jumping. This motif shows that no special qualifications are needed to be moved by it. You need just your eyes. And the poster’s message turns that visual impact into understanding. The tagline is: “Be ONE of the witnesses. Memories in Planica become our language.' In short, it shows young people that our experiences in Planica can bring us together. And by changing owners of the eyes, the poster can expand into a series, highlighting diversity across race, age, and disability. Taken together, this series shows that Planica is no longer just a place or an event. It becomes a language of belonging. It shows young people that Planica offers a truly priceless experience.
