Golden Drum International Festival of Creativity
1.1 Golden Drum International Festival of Creativity (hereinafter the “Festival”) is organized and managed by the Organizer Slovenska oglaševalska zbornica (Slovenian Advertising Chamber, SOZ), registered in Ljubljana, Slovenia with registration number 1332392000 and registered office at Letališka cesta 35, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
1.2 The Organizer is reserving the right to change the conference program and speakers, as well as cancel the Festival without any prior notification. In case the Festival is cancelled, all those who paid the registration fee will be notified via e-mail and their purchase fee will be reimbursed.
1.3 By registering for the Festival, the Delegates are agreeing that the Organizer can use the photographs, as well as audio and video content that could possibly show Delegates. The Organizer is reserving the right to use these materials for promotional purposes, media and online publication, for research and/or educational purposes. The Delegates forgo the exercise of any kind of copyrights or other rights that pertain to their mention or image. The Delegates are aware that the Organizer is not undertaking any obligations for any possible damages caused by publication of these materials where the Delegates are mentioned or shown.
1.4 The users of online registration system, the Delegates and the Entrants agree that the Organizer can contact them via e-mail to notify them about the Festival.
1.5 The Delegates are attending the Festival at their own responsibility. The Organizer shall not answer for any possible lost or damaged property or for possible injuries that occur at the Festival. Because of the light effects the festival is not suitable for people with epilepsy. For more information please contact the organizer.
1.6 The Organizer reserves the right to ban the entrance or to administer a demand to vacate the event to a certain person on the basis of inappropriate behaviour at the discretion of the members of the organizational team or anybody who operates under the authority of the Organizer.
- Registering for the 29th Golden Drum festival conference
2.1 Fee prices are published on the Golden Drum website. Registering for the Festival Conference must be made through an online system. Registration through an online form is confirmed when you receive a confirmation e-mail. After successfully placing your order, you will receive Order Summary with the payment deadline of eight calendar days to the e-mail provided in the application form. The invoice will be issued after the payment or after eight days from receiving the Order Summary. The invoice has to be paid in the legally determined deadline; otherwise we will issue a reminder and charge for it in accordance with a valid price list. The price of the registration fee for the special offers is valid only when the invoice is paid within the determined deadline. Registration will also be possible on site at the festival reception.
2.2 Only full-time students, younger than 26 years (born after October 10, 1997), can purchase Student Registration. The students have to provide a valid confirmation of their student status and identify themselves with a valid identification document at the Festival reception. The Student Registration and all other discounts and special offers exclude each other.
2.3 With registration, you fully accept our General terms and conditiones.
2.4 Failing to pay the invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the conference registration. In the event you wish to cancel your registration, you must notify us pursuant to the Terms and Conditions in written form at: [email protected].
2.5 All Delegates are required to show a form of identification when registering for the event at the Festival’s venue. The tickets are bound to a person and are non-transferable.
2.6 Each registered Delegate receives an accreditation wristband when registering at the Festival’s venue, which must be worn at all times during the Festival. The accreditation badge and wristband allow access to the Golden Drum Festival. Badges are valid only for the registered delegate. Any misuse of badges will result in delegates being denied access or banned from to the Festival. We will not replace lost or stolen badges.
2.6 Awards Show and evening events can be accessed with the appropriate wristbands which are included in some delegate registration packages. Access to Awards Show and evening events will not be possible without a wristband.
- 29th Golden Drum festival conference cancellation policy
3.1 Failing to pay the invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the conference registration. Only written requests received at [email protected] will be taken into consideration.
3.2 50 EUR + VAT cancellation costs are charged for cancellations before 20 September 2023. 80 EUR + VAT cancellation costs are charged for cancellations from 21 September to 5 October 2023. If you cancel your registration after this date, we will charge 100% registration fee as cancellation costs.
3.3 Only written requests received at [email protected] will be taken into consideration. Complete registration fee will be invoiced in the event you cancel your registration after the mentioned date, fail to attend the conference for whatever reason or in the event the cancellation was not sent in written form. Cancellations of delegate registrations are not eligible for credit for 2024. In the event the registered person cannot participate at the 29th Golden Drum due to force majeure it is possible to register a substitute participant in accordance with the General terms and conditions.
3.4 Any requests to replace one delegate for another must be made via email at [email protected]. It is possible to rectify a registration at no cost. Please note that it will not be possible to make replacements at the registration area, in Portorož.
- Registering for the Golden Drum Competition
4.1 Golden Drum Competition is the official competition of the Festival. The Competition and Awards are open to all agencies, advertisers, clients, design or production houses, media companies and other involved in the creation or production of marketing communications, registered in the following countries:
Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan,
Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
4.2 Before entering the Golden Drum Competition read the full Eligibility Rules and Conditions. Entry conditions must be strictly observed by all entrants. The submission of the entry form implies the entrant’s full acceptance of the Festival rules. Non-compliance with any of the competition rules results in entry’s automatic disqualification.
4.3 A registered entry will not be considered complete until it has been paid for and the corresponding material has arrived at the Festival office or has been uploaded through Golden Drum on-line registration system. The Organizer does not accept responsibility for late entries.
4.4 All entry fees are in Euros (EUR). Registrations will only be processed with full pre-payment. The entry fee is applicable for each individual entry, either competing as an independent work or a part of a series.
4.5 It is the entrant’s responsibility to cover all the costs of shipment, custom duties, and all other costs that may arise.
4.6 Failing to pay the invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the entry registration. In case of cancellation you must inform us at en[email protected]. Entries cannot be cancelled or withdrawn from the festival for any reason after 21 August 2023.
4.7 Please carefully check and re-check the credits and submitted materials when filling an entry form. Any amendments of additions to credits and/or submitted materials made after 21 August 2023 will be charged with an administration fee of 70 EUR + VAT.
- Shipment of trophies
5.1 Shipping costs of the trophies will be paid by the Festival. In case the package is returned all the costs of the second shipment are paid for by the entrant. In this case, the entrant chooses and orders the courier service and pays for it on their own.
5.2 All the shipping costs for award duplicates are paid by the recipient.
5.3 Only entrants can order award duplicates. The e-mail with full information of the work they wish to have an award duplicate for, full information for payment and shipping address is considered an order.
5.4 Award duplicates will be ordered and sent to the entrant after receiving the payment.
6.1 All payments for registration fees (delegate and entry) must be made in Euros (EUR). Prices are set out on the website www.goldendrum.com. VAT for entries and personal registrations is charged at 22% under ZDDV-1 Slovenian VAT rules.
6.2 If you wish to pay by bank transfer please use the bank account details below. It is entrant’s responsibility to cover all bank charges, otherwise registration(s) will not be processed. Please refer to your order number/ID when making your payment.

6.3 All invoices will be sent electronically to the email address provided in the registration form. If you require the hard copy of your invoice or a contract to complete the payment, please make a request at our finance department in writing at [email protected].
6.4 By entering the data on taxable and non-taxable status of the Billing Company, respectively, as well as VAT / Tax number in the registration form, the entrant confirms the data entered are correct, represent the actual status and shall be considered final. We will charge any changes of invoices an administrative fee of 70 EUR + VAT.
7.1 By registering into Golden Drum online registration system, entrants give their consent that Slovenska oglaševalska zbornica (Slovenian Advertising Chamber, SOZ) uses their personal data collected for purposes of data analysis concerning participants of the events and for information purposes about all events organized by SOZ. Each individual can at any time file a written request to SOZ for a temporary or permanent cease of his or her personal data for the purposes described above. Within 15 days SOZ is obliged to prevent from using personal data as stated above and inform the individual thereof in the next 5 days.
