ENTER WORK

GROUP A: FILM

FILM group is intended for works that show exceptional filmmaking and notable skills of on-screen storytelling.

IMPORTANT NOTE: "case films" are not eligible in the FILM group.

FILMS up to 180 seconds in length may enter the competition. Except if you are submitting a long online film, where video entries may be up to 10 minutes.

In case of excessive length, please, contact the festival office.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

• One video file up to 180 seconds,
• JPEG file (screenshot).

VIDEO FILE

In case the original language of the video or audio file is not English, the entrant is required to submit an English version, either with appropriate voice-over effect or by adding English subtitles. Video materials must be uploaded as MP4 files only.

The specifications for MP4 file uploads are:

(*) Please upload a video with the best possible resolution and within the file size limit. Should you wish to upload the file size of your video larger than 360 MB, please contact us at [email protected].

SCREENSHOT OF THE VIDEO (JPEG FILE)

It will be used for the entries showcase. Image must be uploaded as a JPEG file only. Screenshots are a required material for entries that have video materials. Please submit screenshots that have as little as possible written on them, since credits for this entry will be written over them. 
The organiser reserves the right to adjust the screenshot or make a screenshot on their own, should the entry be awarded.

• An Awards show film of up to 60 seconds (to be screened at the award ceremony, should the entry be awarded).

GROUP B: PRINT

PRINT group is intended for works that present notable use of print media and published publications

REQUIRED MATERIAL

One image file is required. Only files as JPEG will be accepted.

OPTIONAL MATERIAL

There are NO optional materials.

All entries, submitted to the Golden Drum Festival, will be shown for the judging, screened at the award ceremony, should the entry be awarded, as well as published in the entries showcase on www.goldendrum.com.

GROUP C: OUT OF HOME (OOH)

OOH group includes classic billboards, posters and out-of-home ambient executions as well as non-standard (digital and adapted) solutions.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

Two images are required, the first being the actual work and the second the display of the work in a context.

• The first image will be exhibited during the Festival, screened at the award ceremony, should the entry be awarded, as well as published in the entries showcase on www.goldendrum.com.
• The second image showing the display of the work in a context will only be screened for the judging.

Only files as JPEG will be accepted.

The specifications for the second JPEG file uploads are:

OPTIONAL MATERIALS

• A video presentation of up to 180 seconds,
• Awards show film of up to 60 seconds (to be screened at the award ceremony, should the entry be awarded), both as MP4 files may be submitted to better present the work, entered in this group.
  In case the entrant does not submit the awards show film, the organizer reserves the right to screen first 60 seconds of the original video at the award ceremony, should the entry be awarded.

GROUP D: AUDIO

AUDIO group includes traditional advertising on radio stations and paid-for online radio channels as well as audio experience solutions. 

REQUIRED MATERIALS

• Either audio (MP3),
• or as video (MP4) + screenshot (JPEG),
• or as video (MP4) + screenshot (JPEG) + audio (MP3).

In case the original language of the radio ad is not English, the entrant is required to submit an English version, either with appropriate voice-over effect or by adding English subtitles – transcription of the ad.

Please note that the format of the required material depends on the way entrant submits the English version of the ad:

• Audio file (MP3): In case the original language of the radio ad is not English, the entrant is required to submit an English version with a voice-over sound.

OR

• Video file (MP4): In case the original language of the radio ad is not English, the entrant is required to submit the ad in the original language with added subtitles – transcription of the ad in English.

GROUP E: DIGITAL, MOBILE & TECHNOLOGY

DIGITAL, MOBILE & TECHNOLOGY group is intended for works that demonstrate exceptional creativity in digital, mobile or technology related categories.

MATERIALS BY CATEGORIES

E13 (Communication and Corporate Websites),
E14 (Social Networking Solutions & Community Sites),
E15 (Streaming/Downloadable Creative Content and Podcasts),
E17 (Games),
E18 (Apps and Mobile Content), 
E19 (Creative use of AI / AR, Data / Insight, Metaverse, NFT)

Required materials

• Video file of up to 180 seconds  – presentation / case video,
• Screenshot of the video (JPEG FILE),
• An URL address is required in categories E13 Communication and Corporate Websites and E14 Social Networking Solutions & Community Sites.

URL ADDRESS

Provide one URL address for each interactive entry in categories E13 and E14. URL must lead straight to the entry in one click. If the content of the entry is not in English or has no English version, upload a text file in .DOC format, .RTF format or .TXT format, including the translation of sample pages and/or other key. Only files with .doc, .rtf or .txt extensions will be accepted. Please make sure to use a Unicode script. URL address has to be active from the date of the entry until October 13, 2026. No agency branding is allowed when presenting your entry online.

​GROUP F: DESIGN

DESIGN group includes visual identities (brand and corporate logotypes, branding and visual identity systems with at least three elements), business and promotional design, packaging design and product design. We also welcome digital design in various forms and print design such as calendars, annual reports etc.

No actual sample of the entry is required.
