Austria’s election 2017 evolved into a dirty battle for percentage. The perfect timing for XXXLutz, Austria’s biggest furniture store and king of percentage, to come into play. In the centre of the integrated campaign: a song that was all about caricatures of Austria’s top politicians complaining about the fact that no one will ever have as much percentage as XXXLutz. The song went viral shortly after release. The caricatures were even used by Austria’s media to pimp their election coverage. The campaign led to an image and sales boost which made XXXLutz the clear winner of Austria’s election 2017.
