Creative idea

Lake Ohrid is UNESCO World heritage site, but pollution is destroying its nature. Telekom decided to use its network to help. Using sensors and meteorological models, we collected real time data from the lake. Collaborating with world-renown composer Dzijan Emin, we developed a complex algorithm that translated the data into live music so the world could hear the Voice of the Lake. Every change of weather conditions and pollution was influencing the music in real time. Over 1.5 million people from 140 countries heard the Lake and the government passed a new law to enforce tighter protection of the Lake.
