Creative idea

Faced with declining alumni donations, SSE Riga needed a fresh approach to reengage its community. Instead of traditional fundraising appeals, the idea was to speak the language alumni knew best: finance. Inspired by Wall Street, The SSE 500 transformed students into assets within a live charity stock index. A custom-built platform simulated a real stock exchange, where alumni could “invest” in students. With gamified trading, leaderboards, and dynamic pricing, the campaign turned giving into a competitive, finance-driven experience.
