Drunk only by young students and peasants in the province, Starka was a traditional Lithuanian drink of rough taste and bad repute. We decided to turn its taste – the biggest weakness – into its biggest advantage and selling point, positioning the drink as one that only rough men can handle, and saving its reputation in the process.
