Aleš Brichta is a visionary creative with two decades of experience from leading Czech agencies Young & Rubicam and McCann Prague on internationally recognised brands such as Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2, Erste bank, Asahi, Lego or Sprite. Throughout the 2020s, his innovative approach has been instrumental in redefining Czech advertising, pushing creative boundaries, and elevating it to an international level.
His recent work is driven by the "becoming culture to change culture" principle and bold exploration of uncharted territories in advertising that spark wide public debate. This philosophy led to ground-breaking campaigns such as 13 Minutes, a documentary-based anti-speeding initiative that became the first advertising acquired by HBO as content. Last year, his anti-drug campaign Adikts became the #1 TV show on Czech Netflix, further solidifying his reputation for creating impactful, culture-shifting work.
Relentless pursuit of new forms has earned him not only recognition but also numerous local and international accolades, including three consecutive Cannes Lions as well as two consecutive Golden Drum Grand Prix. In addition, Aleš was named Creative Team of the Year in the Czech Republic in 2023 and 2024 alongside his long-time collaborator Vítězslav Strobl. He ranked #7 in 2023 and #6 in 2024 in Golden Drum’s TOP 10 Creative Directors.
