Estonia is one of the five most forest-rich countries in Europe. But that richness comes with a cost — over 10 million cubic meters of forest are cut down every year. Shockingly, 25–30% of the high-quality stemwood logged doesn’t become furniture, homes, or anything lasting. It’s simply burned for heat. A new player in the energy market, Elenger, offers a cleaner and more modern alternative for generating heat and light – natural gas, biomethan and solar energy. We returned to the prehistoric era, to the dawn of fossil energy itself to highlight a simple truth: burning wood is an outdated habit.
