In our spot for Kaufland, Slovakia’s largest retail chain, we playfully challenged a Slovak cultural and food icon: Sunday Schnitzels. And we did it to introduce a special range of plant-based products! The story follows Filip, a young man who dares to refuse his girlfriend’s grandma’s Sunday schnitzels—an act of culinary heresy that makes him a family outcast. But then comes the twist: Grandma reveals that for years, she’s been serving veggie schnitzels from Kaufland — and no one even noticed.
