Plansee has been processing molybdenum and tungsten – two rare, heavy, heat-resistant and hard metals – for 100 years. The end products can be found in aviation, smartphones, medical technology and much more. To communicate the 100-year success story to the employees, the book is like Plansee’s metals and products: powdery paper, rough masterials, metallic foils, black and white design, clear, hard, precise, rich in contrast and heavy – a molybdenum and a tungsten plate, each weighing 400 grams, adorn the cover and become visible through a grid laser, turning the book into a true heavyweight.
