25 November Stories that Went Black
Creative idea
The number of women killed in Turkey in the same year had reached a very high 282 by 25 November, when we planned to initiate our campaign. In other words, the lives of 282 women ended, their stories went black. In order to draw attention to the number of femicides and call for an end to the issue, we wanted to raise our voice together with everyone else who says I Exist against violence. For this purpose, we used Instagram’s new chain story feature Add Yours.
