ChekaFest
Creative idea
ChekaFest was created to transform memory into a living cultural experience. The music festival honors Iryna “Cheka” Tsybukh — a military paramedic, journalist, and activist who gave her life defending Ukraine. Its identity continued her voice, turning symbols of war into a language of unity and resilience. The central mark — a linear form from a grenade — shed its threat to embody courage, memory, and strength. Equalizer textures visualized songs as echoes of voices that endure. A vivid color palette infused emotional energy and guided themes. Applied across posters, digital media, merchandise, and navigation, the system formed a coherent rhythm.
