Creative idea

We were tasked with finding a KFC ambassador for the hip-hop community. The KFC brand is built on the fact that, unlike its competitors, it uses real, unprocessed meat in its products. That’s exactly what the new ambassador should embody—someone with a genuine desire to collaborate with KFC. So, we gave our fans the chance to compete for it in a rap battle called “Rap Your Way into a Collab with KFC.” Competitors rapped about wings, buckets, and strips on the big stage for a full 90 minutes. Videos from the battle achieved record-breaking numbers on KFC’s social media channels.
