Creative idea

“Cooper’s Clean Air Quest” was designed in response to Cupertino’s Climate Action Plan 2.0, which identified building energy and household appliances as major emission sources. In this VR and web game, players use tools like Carbon Vision Goggles to uncover carbon monoxide risks and upgrade appliances while navigating real rebate programs. By turning emission reduction strategies into interactive play, the project makes complex policy goals understandable and actionable. It showcases how local government can innovate in digital public outreach, engaging families and schools in climate action through fun, hands-on experiences.
