Creative idea

A home is many things to many people. For some, its a place that carries a sense of comfort and for some, a place that oozes nostalgia. It would be fair to say that the word “home” has the power to bring up emotions you never knew existed, emotions that you can only feel, never explain. Our campaign ’Your Slovenia’ focuses on this emotion and aims at encouraging the youngsters of Slovenia to channel their pride for their home into a career in tourism, a career that provides them with a stage to share the wonders of their home with the world, while living a financially secure life fuelled by their passions. It is a fact that Slovenians absorb Slovenia differently. They don’t just see the Julian Alps, they relate to it. The same way that they don’t just eat Pogača, they find comfort in it. We feel that tapping into the fact that working in tourism means helping people see your country through your eyes is a way to not only encourage youngsters to work in tourism, but also inspire them to find their purpose in this field. A purpose that drives them to give back to the country that gave them their home.
