Gürkan defines himself as a new gen creative director and undeterred dreamer, despite his 10 years’ experience in communication. After a 6 year work period with prominent communication experts from Turkey, he focused on the big picture and moved forward his career in online advertising, social media and digital communications. Obviously, there were no regrets about his decision since he has won more than 100 awards and the uncontainable victory of digital itself in the last 3 years.
He writes and directs, loves collaborating with creatives, engineers, virtuosos as well as young local talents. He never saw data and researches as soul sucking creativity killers, on the contrary; interpretation of data brings effectiveness to creativity, according to him. After he gets the brief, his process begins immediately with social listening for insights and ad hoc researches to ensure the creative approach. Amongst his past and present clients are Red Bull, Ford, Turk Telekom, Bnp Paribas, Sanofi, Ford Trucks and many more leading local brands.
