Now more than ever we are reminded that nothing is to be taken for granted as times can become uncertain so swiftly. There is not a single person, industry, economy or country that has not been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The creativity that drives us is in the same boat as everything else. Despite everything, we strongly believe creativity should not take the back seat during these challenging times. Those who had worked hard to deliver exceptional creative work over the past year should be celebrated and not overlooked. The industry needs to come together and we need to help each other as we face the toughest and fastest arising challenge in recent history. We are certain that all these months working from home in self-isolation will soon pay off and we will face a new era, yet to be shaped into a new normal. We will have to roll up our sleeves and pick up the pieces, there is no denying it. Nevertheless, let us have something to look forward to, something that keeps us going forward!"
"From 21 to 23 October we will catch up on all that was lost, rejoice once again and celebrate creativity in all its glory. Last year’s Creativity 4 Change will this year need to reshape to restart the future that awaits us. In addition, we are taking into account the arising economic situation. We are therefore lowering the personal participation fees for everyone, since we want to make the Slovenian Riviera and the festival’s inspiring talks and networking opportunities accessible to everybody. So, stay tuned for all the upcoming news.
Till then we wish you all to stay safe and stay healthy, because want to be able to welcome and confidently hug our old friends, shake hands with new ones and Re:Start the Future together at the 27th Golden Drum Festival of Creativity taking place just a step from the sea!"
