The best video showcasing Slovenia as the land of active holidays that convinced the five-member jury is Imagine Slovenia, created by Dmitry Sharov. The simple, yet impressive idea behind the creative solution was presented today on the virtual stage.
"Travel commercials offer a specific image and make it impossible for us to fantasize. In my idea, I tried to show the spirit and energy of Slovenia not through my vision, but through the meditation of the viewer. Follow the instructions and close your eyes: use your imagination!" said Dmitry.
The festival has once again partnered with the Slovenian Tourist Board to create an opportunity for young creatives under 30 from all over the world. The entrants were challenged to make a short video raising awareness of Slovenia as a green destination with natural beauties, which offers unique and active outdoor experiences.
''As it says about Golden Drum, it’s a festival to inspire and empower creative thinking and action for positive change in many different ways – to me as a jury President it was exactly that. Not only that I got a peek at young professionals’ work that leads the way of future creativity I got to share insights on our industry and different phenomena in our societies. In a short time, Golden Drum nicely wrapped up the future of creativity transforming it into life-changing experiences for so many,'' added Suvi Lähde,Young Drummers Jury President.
