Pulp Gospel
Creative idea
The Love & Anarchy Film Festival promo reimagines Pulp Fiction’s iconic “Ezekiel 25:17” monologue with a distinctly Finnish twist. Instead of a Bible-quoting hitman, the sermon is delivered by a pastor channeling Tarantino, portrayed by Cannes Best Actress winner Kati Outinen. Both homage and parody, the film speaks to cinephiles in their own language: cinema. Shown in theatres across Helsinki, it elevates the idea that for true cinephiles, a powerful film can feel almost like a religious experience — a communal ritual that algorithms and streaming feeds can never replace.
