The Auschwitz Report
Creative idea
We used the culminating election campaign in Slovakia and pointed out the parallels in statements of current politicians with what the president of the Slovak fascist state, Jozef Tiso, once proclaimed. We created 10 controversial billboards with a colorized portrait of Jozef Tiso, which looked like the current election campaign. We symbolically covered the mouth of the Tiso with the inscription sprava.sk, which directed people to the web with a teaser for the new film Správa (The Auschwitz Report) about two Slovak Jews who escaped from Auschwitz . In addition, visitors to the site have learned more about where it can lead if history repeats itself.
