Survivors
Creative idea
GULAG History Museum deals with the history of the corrective forced labor camp system that served as an instrument of state repression in the USSR in 1930s-50s. 20mln people were imprisoned in GULAG camps during repressions, 2mln died there. Nowadays the topic is almost not covered in media and just half of the youth know about mass repressions in USSR. We want to resume it and spread the knowledge among youth: always remember, never repeat. We used comics as the most understandable and attractive format for TA. Introducing SURVIVORS - graphic novels based on the real stories of GULAG's victims.
