Creative idea
Nicholas Ofczarek is one of the most acclaimed theatre actors and TV stars in the German speaking world, who is especially known for challenging roles, extreme characters and odd interpretations. In this TV and cinema commercial, shot in the six respective vineyards all over Burgenland, Ofczarek had to act out qualities usually described by oenophiles using abstract terms such as “round”, “gnarly”, “velvety” or “juvenile” without any dialogue or script, which presented even the veteran performer with a whole new challenge. Without showing a single bottle or drop of wine, Ofczarek captured the true essence of each grape variety.
