Creative idea

While driving, things like traffic jams cause our heart rate to rise. High heart rate makes our driving more aggressive. Aggressive driving increases emissions. Music is one of the best ways to bring down the pulse. We created playlists optimal for climate friendly driving by using songs with tempo under 90 BPM. Playlists were tailored to the busiest routes in Finland and extra-calming music was added to intersections and other pulse rising spots. To spread the word about music’s effect, we collaborated with the biggest morning radio show in Finland. And took over the most stressful time for drivers – the morning rush hour.
