The Danube Delta is a UNESCO Heritage Site and a popular holiday destination for Romanians. The influx of tourists results in significant plastic litter, threatening a fragile ecosystem and the home of locals. Electrolux changed the serious narrative on sustainability into an anti-pollution message that was easier to swallow: a soup. The most popular dish of Danube Delta: the fish soup was cooked by Electrolux and local fishermen as Fish SouPET. A dish made from plastic bottles thrown away by tourists, in order to drive people towards a more responsible behavior and ignite a positive change.
