THE SOUNDS OF IKEA We recorded over 100 sounds made by IKEA products, to let people feel their soothing, relaxing effects - outside of the store experience. Working with sound engineers we used the ASMR technique recording with ultrasensitive and binaural microphones, to capture the sensual sounds each cushion, rug, and table… made when touching it. The sounds were turned into an audio-visual campaign on Instagram Stories, YouTube, Facebook and IKEA.pl - encouraging people to experience each item through sound on their headphones. This was the first time IKEA Poland sold the benefits of their furniture using the power of sound.
