The Lidls market entry in Serbia was a huge challenge, since it really was the introduction of the first real global price and quality-wise player, on the highly saturated retail market in Serbia. With the launch campaign, Lidl wanted to invite customers to experience the simple joy of everyday shopping, which offers the best value and quality ratio. The key attributes (best value and quality ratio) were portrayed as the perfect couple (brand ambassadors). After the launch campaign, Lidl achieved all of the set KPIs, while at the same time established the level of recognition similar to key players.
