Mykola Kovalenko is a famous Ukrainian graphic designer. He studied at the Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Art and Design named after Mykhailo Boychuk. 

Mykola has 20 years of experience in design. He worked at international advertising agencies: Publicis Ukraine, FCB Kyiv, MullenLowe Adventa. Mykola was Head of Design Studio at the international advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine. 

He runs his own design studio Mykola Kovalenko Studio and DNK Shop.

Mykola Kovalenko is an honorary member of the Ukrainian Art Directors Club, a member of the Slovakian Art directors Club, a member of the Ukrainian Graphic Designers Association “The 4-th Block” and Czech Brno Biennale Designers Association. 

He has won more than 150 awards at international design contests and festivals, including Red Dot Design Award (Germany), Golden Drum (Slovenia), The European Design Awards (Greece), Graphis (USA), ADI Design Award (China), International Poster Triennial in Toyama (Japan), International Triennial «The 4th Block» (Ukraine), Kiev International Advertising Festival KIAF (Ukraine), Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design (Russia), Poster Quadrennial Bardejov (Slovakia) and others.

He often served as a member of the jury at international design festivals: ADC*E Awards (Spain), ADC*UA Awards (Ukraine), KAKADU Awards (Ukraine), Kiev International Advertising Festival KIAF (Ukraine), REX (Ukraine), International Triennial of Eco-poster «The 4th Block» (Ukraine), Golden Flea Trademarks Competition (Russia), STRELKA International design biennale (Russia).
Mykola Kovalenko regularly participates in international exhibitions. He also holds solo poster exhibitions in Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland and in other countries.

Mykola gives lectures and runs workshops on graphic design. His works have been featured in magazines and catalogues all over the world. 

Mykola Kovalenko is a creator of many international cultural and social projects.
