An Address from the Jury President:
“I’m really looking forward to leading this years' Craft Jury at Golden Drum celebrating Craft and elevating the importance of it within our industry.
As designers we seek to solve problems for our client... interrogating and understanding the issue and seeking insights that will help us unlock a unique idea. A strong idea, that gives a brand or piece of work its emotional edge, translating abstract strategies into actionable, tangible expressions that resonate with people. That move people.
But all of this falls short if the drive for distinctiveness in execution, the love poured into materials and finishes, the attention to every detail is not there. Without craft everything falls short.
I am really looking forward to celebrating the work that went the extra mile and transformed the idea into exquisite reality!"
