Sami Basut is a Chief Creative Officer who holds the record of being one of the most awarded creative leaders in Turkiye. Being a pioneer in the industry he believes in the responsibility of creatives in transforming businesses. His passion for crafts, design and typography has made him a sought out name in luxury, fashion and beauty industries. His collaborations with the fashion industry, TV producers, musicians, celebrities and influencers has prized him the Chief Entertainment Officer title which helped him produce cultural moments led by brands in Turkiye.

A true believer in viral works, he has helped his agency create the most talked about campaigns of Turkiye. Working for brands like Coca Cola, Johnnie Walker, Dove, Kotex, Unilever, Renault, Mastercard he has proven again and again the value of creativity for big clients making a difference and creating an impact in the world. Sami is also a professor in Bogaziçi University inspiring young talent to fall in love with creativity and use their power to influence change in the business world. Having taught over 1000 students, he acts as a bridge inviting people into the business of advertising and marketing. His passion of bringing young talent into the industry led him to become the Dean of Creators Academy in Brand Week.

Guided by his personal motto, “We’ll always have creativity,” Sami has built a career deeply rooted in celebrating and championing creative excellence. Over the years, he has served on juries at prestigious international festivals including Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Golden Drum, New York Festival, Black Sea Festival, and The One Show.

In addition to contributing as a juror, he has also taken on leading roles as Jury President at Crystal Apple and Felis, and served as President of Presidents at Brandverse.
