Esra Demirkaya Koca

Esra Demirkaya Koca is a senior leader in Turkey’s media and communications industry, with over 27 years of experience spanning media strategy, integrated marketing, business growth, and organizational transformation.
She began her career in media planning and buying in 1998 and has since held several senior leadership roles across global agency networks, working with local, regional, and international brands.
Prior to her current positions, Esra held executive roles including Client Lead Director, Managing Partner, and Chief Client Officer, focusing on driving growth through strategic clarity, creative effectiveness, and data-driven decision making.
In January 2022, she was appointed CEO & Global Partner of T&P Turkey, a WPP agency. Alongside her CEO role, since the beginning of 2025, she has been leading the Growth function at WPP Media Turkey, overseeing new business development and marketing & communications initiatives.
Her expertise includes marketing and communication strategy, integrated marketing, media planning, digital transformation, consumer insights, and sustainable business practices, with a strong focus on building meaningful brand and business success stories.
Esra has also served in prominent jury leadership roles, including Jury President at Felis Awards and MarTech Awards, reflecting her active contribution to creative excellence and marketing innovation.
She holds a degree in Sociology from Mimar Sinan University and continued her education in Marketing Communications at Baruch College, New York.
Esra is also a lecturer and guest speaker on media, communication, and leadership topics.
In addition to her corporate roles, she is actively involved in advisory and mentoring initiatives focused on sustainability, inclusive innovation, and the advancement of women in technology and leadership.
