Gianna became an advertising copywriter because she couldn't finish any of her novels. But she knew she had to write something. Radio scripts, video scripts, slogans, hashtags, or even the ingredients on the back of shampoos that nobody ever reads (except in the unfortunate event that their phone runs out of battery). In some cases, she has done so with success, winning several Ermis awards over the years, an Effie and entries in Lürzer's Archive. Eventually she did finish a novel that got published.
One of the scariest experiences she had in advertising was when she was just an 8-month-old copywriter and she was the winner of the Greek Young Lions competition, so she had to compete against the world in Cannes. It didn't go the way she expected. But she still writes. She is currently working with exceptional creatives at Ogilvy Greece.
