Dániel’s passion for advertising began more than 17 years ago and his first visit to Golden Drum as a junior copywriter only fuelled it further. Formerly he was the ECD of VML Budapest, currently he is the executive creative director of a full-service Hungarian indie agency, Mediator Group.
Many local and international award-winning campaigns are tied to his name. His latest campaign ‘The Sound of Matra’ created for the alternative Black Noise Festival won a Golden Drum Grand Prix in 2024 in Digital Craft.
He believes that simplicity is the key to ideation which goes hand in hand with deep cultural context and craft. Looking for ideas always keeps him up all night but nowadays his 2-year-old boy inspires him to not get enough sleep, at least that way he can watch more NBA games at night. He also likes to see himself as a team player beyond the basketball court.
Educating the future young creative talents is very important to him that’s why he gives advertising lectures at universities, judges many selection competitions held for young creatives like Young Lions and organizes events for ad professionals; he is the co-founder of the Hungarian Agency Night.
