With a total of 17 years agency experience, Joeri joined dentsu after stints at digital agencies the valley and MediaMonks as well as advertising agencies Ogilvy and TBWA\.
Six months after joining Dentsu Creative Amsterdam he took responsibility to mature and grow the Experience part of the agency. This resulted in going from 8 people and 850K revenue to 40 people and more than 4.5M revenue in 5 years and more importantly one of the best Experience design teams in the EMEA region if not the whole network.
Winning cross market pitches together with dentsu’s offices in Switzerland, UK, CEE, US, Denmark and UAE he took the design team from doing local work to global projects for the likes of Audemars Piguet and Philips HUE, building an inhouse front end team in the meantime.
There is no cycling through Amsterdam without seeing at least 3 or 4 brands created by the DC Amsterdam team. Joeri created the Positioning and Identity proposition, which resulted in 50+ brands designed and a well exportable pack of templates and ways of working which is being adopted across the EMEA region.
The latest initiatives include the Marked event, which is a full day masterclass where VC’s can nominate their startups to participante (140 of them did). Also DOJO, which is DC’s latest proposition for rapid tech prototypes and validation. And finally, the Signify Academy which is a quarterly knowledge sharing platform with our long-term client Signify (Philips HUE).
