CNBC-e Hello
Creative idea
During its golden era, CNBC-e was a beloved thematic channel in Turkiye, known for airing foreign shows in their original language with Turkish subtitles, a feature unseen on Turkish TV before. When streaming platforms didn’t exist and online TV was limited to local, dubbed content, CNBC-e offered high-quality international programs. Iconic shows like The Simpsons and Game of Thrones became cultural staples. After a successful 15-year run, the channel suddenly ended, leaving a void in the media landscape. Now, after a 9-year hiatus, CNBC-e is back, announcing its return with a simple, nostalgic message: “–Hello,” in its iconic subtitle style.
