NEAREST BOMB SHELTER
Creative idea
Since World War II, bomb shelters have largely become relics. However, in Ukraine, they’ve become essential again due to ongoing russian missile attacks. To remind the world of peace’s fragility, we created a map of bomb shelters in Venice and launched our campaign during the 60th Venice Biennale. Ironically, and completely unplanned, the nearest bomb shelter was right next to the Ukrainian pavilion. Our goal was to highlight that art and peace can only persist if the international community stays united in supporting Ukraine against the russian invasion.
