Creative idea

While Barcelona is fighting with over-tourism, Electric Castel, a music festival in Transilvanya, wanted to balance things out and invite tourists from the crowded Spain to Romania, a country that has lost 46% of international tourists after the pandemic. During one of the biggest music festivals in Barcelona, we teamed-up with angry locals protesting over-tourism and turned their messages across the city into web-domains promoting Electric Castle and Transylvania. Over 50 graffities we’re hijacked in two days, making our story reach international news. Online, anyone could join the movement, either as a local fighting or as a tourist looking for a new destination.
