Hungarians to Mars
Creative idea
During the economic downturn, premium telco provider Telekom, aimed to retain customers by highlighting the value-packed benefits of their subscriptions. Rather than traditional advertising, they decided to create a content-based brand ecosystem. Enter 'Hungarians to Mars!'—a co-created mockumentary series depicting a small enterprise inadvertently becoming a NASA contractor. In a country where we can hardly build decent highways, Telekom produced a series about rocket-building for Mars. Leveraging the series, we crafted numerous humorous commercials, displays and social media assets, showcasing over 80 'goodies' that make Telekom the most valuable choice, even in times of crisis.
