Blindjourney
Creative idea
AI opened groundbreaking horizons by enabling the creation of visual art from words. This inspired Blindjourney, an art project where blind artists expressed themselves visually for the first time. Using Midjourney, they translated their impressions and unique perspectives of Budapest into 2D art. Seven artworks were displayed on citylights, turning the city into a thought-provoking open-air gallery. Each artwork was exhibited at the exact location depicted to emphasize its impact. This innovative approach deepened sighted people’s understanding of blind experiences through visual language, sparking meaningful conversations and fostering greater appreciation for diverse perspectives.
