Café Existans is theatre play that takes place in real café, with the audience moving freely between spaces and blending into the actors’ performances. It recreates the feeling of the existentialist philosophy era. Exceptional acting, lighting and sound solutions, a special café menu all contribute to authentic and surreal experience. That same feeling is achieved in our film through very special animation. The stop-motion technique blend not only photos and hand-drawn illustrations, but also filmed episodes into a truly artistic performance which creates dreamy journey of the mind and the senses – just as the audience can experience in Café Existans.
