Saving The Voice Of The Ghetto
Creative idea
When the last witnesses who can say 'I was there' die, history begins to fall silent. To combat this silence, we used AI voice cloning technology to immortalize the testimony of Holocaust survivor Stella Fidelseid regarding the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. We created a voice sample with the essence of the emotion from an archive recording of Stella in Portuguese from 1997. By recreating her voice with authentic emotions—fear, pride, love, and hope—we brought her untold story to life. This innovative audio experience allowed audiences to hear Stella’s memories directly, ensuring the history of the Uprising resonates deeply and remains vivid for future generations.
