Blindjourney
Creative idea
Blind individuals still face challenges with misunderstanding and social integration. A common misconception is that their imaginations are limited due to a lack of sight. To challenge this we teamed up with blind artists of Kézzelfogható Foundation for an experimental art project: with Midjourney they visualized Budapest locations using their perceptions as prompts. We displayed the artworks on citylights, each one at the exact location that it depicted. This way they offered a striking visual comparison with the surrounding and enhanced the experience of diverse perspectives. The series turned city into a thought-provoking open-air gallery, a Blindjourney that you could travel through from stop to stop.
