Creative idea

In the Czech Republic, over 100 legal differences deny same-sex couples equal rights—a massive, often invisible barrier. Many public and political leaders mistakenly believe that registered partnerships offer the same rights as marriage, but the reality is different. To make this barrier tangible for politicians, we created The Unwearable Ring. A first wedding ring that contains a limiting, hurtful, and invisible barrier inside of it symbolizing the barriers same-sex couples face daily. We sent The Unwearable Ring to key decision-makers, influencers, and journalists, creating a buzz and pushing for legal change by making the issue impossible to ignore.
