In Turkiye, the lack of affordable housing for university students is a significant issue, with high rents and overcrowded dormitories leaving many in dire living conditions. The Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) launched the 'This Is All I Can Afford' campaign to raise awareness of this issue. TEV set up 1-square-meter mock-ups of living spaces in busy city centers during the university entrance exam weekend. These small, cramped installations were designed to represent the limited conditions students can afford, bringing the housing crisis into clear focus for the public. Through this visual representation, TEV aimed to highlight the difficulties students face in securing adequate housing.
