The Winners of the Golden Drum 2024 Are Announced!

The 2024 Golden Drum Festival has wrapped up, culminating in the exciting Golden Drum Awards Show, presented in partnership with Mastercardwhich took place on 10 October 2024, in Portorož, Slovenia. The juries of the 2024 Golden Drum recognized outstanding creative talent, handing out a total of 62 Bronze Drums, 58 Silver Drums, 37 Golden Drums, and 17 Grand Prix awards.

The prestigious Agency of the Year, powered by A1 Slovenija, was granted to LePubMilan, while the honors for Network of the Year went to McCann Worldgroup

Heineken received the coveted Brand Grand Prix for their outstanding creative achievement. The prestigious Creative Director of the Year accolade, powered by Elan, was awarded to Bartosz Jeglejewski, the creative director from McCann Poland, behind the campaign “Room for Everyone.” 

The Independent Agency of the Year title, supported by NLB, was awarded to Bickerstaff.756, Kyiv

MRM Romania secured the title of Digital Agency of the Year, while UM Romania was named Media Agency of the Year. The recognition for Production Agency of the Year went to wearekindofstudio.

In the All Juries section, Best of Genius Loci, an award that honors works that capture the essence of their local spirit, was presented to Fp7 McCann Beirut, for »Selfless Shelves,« created for their client Arla Foods

Best of Social Good, supported by Lidl Slovenija, was presented to Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine for their impactful project, »The Minefields Honey Project« developed for Kernel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Game Changer award, powered by Telemach Slovenija, went to LePub, Milan, for their innovative project, Pub Museums, created for Heineken

The most successful agency from the Adriatic Region, receiving the special Adriatic Agency of the Year award, powered by Zavarovalnica Triglav, became McCann Skopje with »Start up package.«

Adding to the evening’s celebration, Eka Ruola, Chief Creative Officer and Chairman of Nitro Group from Finland was welcomed as the newest member of the Golden Drum Hall of Fame, where he joins this distinguished group of creative visionaries who have not only served as inspiration but have profoundly influenced the world of creativity as we know it.

In the Young Drummers Competition, held in collaboration with the Slovenian Tourist Board, Slovakian Nicoletta Gulíšek and Matúš Kollárik from Istropolitana Ogilvy emerged victorious, with their winning poster series »Love-correct

The jury has additionally recognized the following entries with special mentions, honoring their remarkable quality and creativity: »Real life wonders« by Faruq Alimi and Ajani Olamitayo from Noah's Ark Communications, Nigeria, and »It's in our Sloveins.« by Tassy Fanni and Schafarek Boldizsár from Republic Group // DDB, Budapest.
