Creative idea

Situated in today’s Czech Republic the film narrates the story of a woman and her continual search for freedom and independence. Meditating on her life and what moved her throughout the years our aged heroine takes us back on a journey to her youth in Prague during the 80s. Against the backdrop of the reality under communist rule and the exciting events of the peaceful Velvet Revolution in 1989 we live with her through the distinctive moments of her life. Sometimes joyful, sometimes disappointing her experiences are marked by the woman’s striving for individual and political liberty as well as a lifelong relationship with the traditional car brand Škoda.
