Poland, 2021. Winter. The emigrants coaxed by Lukashenko regime got stuck at the Polish-Belarusian border, behind a barbed wire fence. We wanted to raise donations to support foundations that help refugees at the border. It’s been a Polish tradition for hundreds of years to set an empty plate for a lost wanderer on a Christmas Eve table. Therefore, we designed a special Christmas Eve plate with a symbolic decoration. We made a plate for a wanderer that would not arrive this year.
