Creative idea

For years, Hungarians have lived in a political climate where corruption scandals dominated public discourse, while independent journalists, activists, and critics faced increasing pressure. As Hungary remained the European Union's most corrupt country, corruption often felt distant and abstract. Transparency International responded with Corrupt Square, an exhibition placed directly in front of Parliament, the symbolic center of political power. By turning Hungary's most notorious corruption cases into a public experience in the country's most politically charged location, the campaign transformed a national frustration into a visible, shareable act of accountability.
