Creative idea

Insight: Gen Z and Z-lennials have grown up with the world at their fingertips. Yet, ironically, endless scrolling has made real travel feel less like discovery and more like déjà vu. Every destination, every hidden gem, is already “spoiled” by social feeds. The thrill of exploration is lost in a sea of secondhand experiences. Idea: Our poster for Mastercard Slovenia flips this script with a simple, universal gesture: the iPhone’s side button. One click turns off the screen, pausing the digital noise. A double-click instantly activates your mobile Mastercard, transforming a familiar tech reflex into a gateway to real-world adventure. This dual CTA bridges the gap between digital consumption and authentic experience, inviting young travellers to stop watching and start living. Execution: Visually, the poster is intentionally free of travel photos or destination clichés. By removing these “spoilers,” we hand imagination back to the audience. Letting them picture their own journeys, unfiltered and unplanned. The focus is on the gesture itself: a close-up of a hand, thumb poised over the iPhone’s side button. Mastercard is positioned not just as a payment method, but as the enabler of this spontaneous, real-world exploration. Furthermore, instead of focusing on a traditional plastic card, the creative highlights the seamless utility of the mobile Mastercard, which is activated instantly with a double-click of the iPhone’s side button. And let’s face it: with nearly every second person on the planet walking around with an iPhone, that satisfying 'two-tap to pay' is basically built-in muscle memory by now (sorry, green-bubble friends). We are simply hijacking this universal reflex to help them check out of the digital feed and check into the real world.
